Andersen Design Pottery Pair of Rabbits
Lifelike Anderson Design Pottery Stoneware Rabbits, one with his ears up and the other with his ears back. MINT CONDITION. No chips, cracks, damage or repair of any kind. Bottom of both rabbits marked with logo. Ear up rabbit is 5" tall and 4 1/2" long. Ear back rabbit is 3" tall and 5 1/2" long. Weston and Brenda Andersen began collaborating on contemporary designs of bowls, vases and other ware in Akron, Ohio in 1952. A year later they moved to Southport, Maine. Here they started their line of animal and bird sculptures. The pottery is produced today by the second generation.
