Andersen Design Pottery Pair of Rabbits
Lifelike Anderson Design Pottery Stoneware Rabbits, one with his ears up and the other with his ears back. MINT CONDITION. No chips, cracks, damage or repair of any kind. Bottom of both rabbits marked with logo. Ear up rabbit is 5" tall and 4 1/2" long. Ear back rabbit is 3" tall and 5 1/2" long. Weston and Brenda Andersen began collaborating on contemporary designs of bowls, vases and other ware in Akron, Ohio in 1952. A year later they moved to Southport, Maine. Here they started their line of animal and bird sculptures. The pottery is produced today by the second generation.

Clyde Burt Mid-Century Modern Pottery Vase
Rare and investment quality Clyde Burt Pottery ribbed vase. Great abstract design with excellent color and glaze. MINT CONDITION. No chips, cracks, damage or repair of any kind. Bottom marked with CB. Vase is 6 1/2" tall and 5 1/4" wide. Clyde Burt was born in 1922 and passed away in 1981. He studied at the Fort Wayne Art School, Cape Cod School of Art and did graduate work at The Cranbrook Academy of Art, under Maija Grotell. Burt's work is in the collection of the Smithsonian American Art Museum and the Chicago Museum of Art. Exhibited at the Ceramic Nationals from 1954-1958.

Howard Pierce Pottery Momma and Baby Owl
Adorable mother owl and baby by Howard Pierce. MINT CONDITION. No chips, cracks, damage or repair of any kind. Bottom of momma is stamped HOWARD PIERCE. The momma owl is 5" tall and 3 3/4" wide and the baby owl is 3" tall and 2 1/2" wide. Howard Pierce had an incredible artistic talent and ability to capture the essence of his subjects through ceramic art. Howard Pierce's California pottery consisted of distinctively modern figurines of animals, birds and people. Howard Pierce was a highly talented artist and a one-man studio potter who started his work in the 1940's and continued up until his death in 1994.
