Massive and magnificent, early transitional Newcomb College Pottery bulbous vase decorated with Spanish oak trees, moss and a very rare sunlight background by Sadie Irvine in 1913. Great color, composition and detail. EXCELLENT CONDITION. There is a minute tip of a pencil sized glaze pop to the body that is harmless and only mentioned for accuracy sake. No chips, cracks, damage or repair of any kind. Bottom marked with logo, FS45, cipher for Sadie Irvine, and JM. Vase stands a massive 8 1/4" tall by 10 3/4" wide. This is largest example of a Spanish oak tree vase we have seen. Superior, investment quality vase and estate fresh.
