Roseville Velmoss

Velmoss is a middle period pattern introduced by Roseville Pottery in 1935. An alternate name for this popular Roseville pattern is Velmoss II. The blue, green, and tan pieces are Arts and Crafts style, while the rose examples are more Art Deco. Velmoss was originally marked with foil labels. Some examples have handwritten shape numbers. Later examples have die-impressed Roseville script marks. The 19 Velmoss shapes include several different vases and bowls.
