Large and likely of a kind 1920s Van Briggle Pottery mulberry pentagon shape footed covered bowl. Most likely used for potpourri or putting flowers inside to keep the room smelling fresh, an old time room air freshener. There is an old article in the piece about a Rookwood jar used for a similar purpose that we will include this with the piece. MINT CONDITION. No chips, cracks, damage or repair of any kind. There is a non showing factory separation line to the underside of the lid mentioned for accuracy sake. Bottom marked with logo, Van Briggle and Colo. Spgs. Piece is 6" tall and 8 1/4" wide at the widest spot.
