Very decorative and early wall tile plate with a blue bird on a branch attributed to Van Briggle Pottery. Great color and design. EXCELLENT ORIGINAL CONDITION. No chips, cracks, damage or repair of any kind. Wall plate is 1 1/2" tall and 10 1/4" in diameter. Unmarked. This plate came of high end Van Briggle collection from a life time Van Briggle collector who thought it was Van Briggle. I have sold 1000s of pieces of Van Briggle and I think it is possible this is early Van Briggle but I am not sure. I have spoken with several other Van Briggle experts who have mixed options. This is selling as attributed to Van Briggle. If you have any information on this plate I would be interested in hearing it.
