Bottom marked with logo, Van Briggle, Original and cipher for Deborah Hager. Bowl is 4" tall and 5 1/4" wide. Desert Sands Evans Swirl Pottery Colorful Vase And Bowl
Nice pair of Desert Sands Pottery mission swirl pieces. MINT CONDITION. No chips, cracks, damage or repair of any kind. Bottoms of all vases marked correctly as seen in photo. Vase is 4 3/4" tall and 3 1/4" wide. Bowl is 1 1/2" tall and 5 3/4" wide. Evans Pottery began making swirl pottery in 1928. Several years later they moved to Boulder City, Nevada and ultimately Barstow, California. In Barstow Evans produced Desert Sands Pottery. The majority of Desert Sands is colorful swirl pottery which has a high gloss interior and exterior.
