Very large and rarely seen Zanesville Stoneware Pottery matte green jardiniere with a detailed frieze, a broad horizontal band of sculpted or painted decoration. EXCELLENT CONDITION. There are a couple of glaze flakes and a tight 2" hairline to the rim that looks like a craze line. No other chips, cracks, damage or repair of any kind. Factory pops, pin holes and crazing. Jardiniere is 11" tall and 13" wide. Piece can be found on page 43 of Zanesville Stoneware Company Identification & Value Guide by Jon Rans Glenn Ralston and Nate Russel.
