Ravenstone Art Pottery Tiles

Ravenstone’s Laura Reutter began making and designing ceramic art tiles in 1998. Taking her artistic inspiration from early arts and crafts pottery companies such as Moravian, Newcomb, and Grueby, Ravenstone ceramic tiles and vases typically depict scenic nature designs with elements of Art Nouveau as well as Arts & Crafts aesthetic.

Each of the limited edition Ravenstone art pottery tile glazes are hand-created by artist Tim Taylor. Most of the glazes have a matte to satin surface quality, with subdued colors that enhance the sculptural effect of the art tile surface. Ravenstone art pottery tiles are hand-pressed in a plaster mold. Each individual art pottery tile or vase is hand-glazed (brushed or poured), making every example a unique work of art.

Ravenstone Art PotteryRavenstone art tiles are fired to mid-range temperatures, resulting in a durable stoneware ceramic, suitable for indoor or outdoor use. Ravenstone art pottery tiles make a great decorative addition for virtually any room including kitchen, bath, or fireplace settings. Each art tile can be hung either unframed or framed. Framed examples of Ravenstone art tiles make a wonderful architectural accent to Craftsman or Mission style homes.

Each investment quality Ravenstone art pottery tile is specially made for Just Art Pottery and is personally signed by the artist and owner Laura Reutter.
