The June 29th Live Auction was a great time, and a lot of you ended the day with gorgeous, sought-after pottery. If you missed out, don't worry! Our next live auction is August 10th, and the catalog is open now!
Unsurprisingly, Roseville Futura pieces were popular, with considerable back-and-forth bidding.
The Roseville Futura 1928 Art Deco Vase sold for $2,800 with over 20 bids.
And these Roseville Futura 1928 Flying Saucer Candle Holders weren’t far behind at $2,700.
Weller pottery was particularly strong, with multiple examples soaring past auction estimates.
Two Weller Dickens Ware pieces had just under 30 bids each. The 1900s Pitcher sold for $900, and the scenic vase sold for $2,500.
This stunning Weller Camelot 1914 Geometric Vase sold for $1,700, with a very exciting back-and-forth of 31 bids!

After the excitement over the clocks in our April auction, we weren’t surprised to see these Art Deco timepieces receive a lot of bids. The Lincoln Electric 1930s clock received 14 bids and sold for $950, while the Jump Hour wristwatch with an alligator skin box garnered an impressive 31 bids and sold for $850.
A wonderful selection of animal-themed production Rookwood was offered and well received by bidders. The 1919 yellow Seahorse Vase and the 1920 green Fish Vase each sold for $400.
This auction’s small selection of glass items performed well, including a Daum Nancy France Pate de Verre Daffodil dish that sold for $700 and a Loetz vase with a silver metal overlay that sold for $425. A Louis Comfort Tiffany bowl sold for $600.
