Monticello is an Arts and Crafts pattern introduced by Roseville Pottery in 1931. An alternate spelling for the pattern is Montacello. Standard colors are aqua and tan. The tan pieces are more desirable than the aqua, but both are in high demand today. Monticello was marked with paper labels, and some examples have a hand-written shape number. Factory stock pages show 15 shapes, most of which are vases. There are also baskets, bowls, and candlesticks.
