Edith Lavette Wildman (1910-1912)

Edith Lavette Wildman was Cortland, Ohio, on April 27, 1888. In 1908 she went to Cincinnati where she studied at the Cincinnati Art Academy. In 1910 she joined the decorating staff of Rookwood Pottery. In 1912 she left the pottery for marriage. She decorated in the finest glazes of the time, including iris and Sea Green. She died in Cortland in 1951. Collector interest in her pieces is considered to be above average.
